Shedup Choephelling Temple in Happy Valley
ÂHappy Valley is a large Tibetan settlement in Mussoorie. It is popularly known as Mini Tibet and houses over 5000 Tibetan refugees. The refugees moved there in 1959 when the 14th Dalai Lama took refuge in Mussoorie. The Tibetan government in exile then departed for Dharamshala in the later years, but many of the refugees stayed back and formed a strong community. They became an integral part of the culture and traditions of Mussoorie. Happy Valley is surrounded by lush green landscapes and features a temple located atop a cliff. It was the first Tibetan shrine to be built in India and was consecrated by the Dalai Lama. It is the epitome of classic Tibetan architecture. The shrine showcases several beautiful paintings and idols of Lord Buddha. The temple in Mussoorie also overlooks the Benog Hill circuit, which makes for a wonderful sight!
Dalai Hill
ÂDalai Hill is located about 400 metres from Shedup Choephelling Temple in Mussoorie. It is one of the most beautiful places in Mussoorie. It is decorated with Buddhist prayer flags and is completed with a statue of Lord Buddha. This statue was constructed by the 20th regional Tibetan Youth Congress, Mussoorie, to ward off diseases, wars, conflicts, and natural disasters, similar to the one that occurred on 13th June 2014.

Benog Mountain Quail Wildlife Sanctuary
ÂBenog Wildlife Sanctuary is a signature bird-watching spot in Mussoorie. It hosts a variety of medicinal plants, pines and old cedar trees that are present in the area. Some of the birds that you can spot are the White Capped Water Redstart, the Red Billed Blue Magpie, quails and more. Travellers who visit this Mussoorie wildlife sanctuary are treated to spectacular views of the Bandarpunch peaks. The other tourist spots that guests can visit include Hathipaon Estate and Cloud’s End.
Cloud's End

This was the home of Sir George Everest who was the Surveyor-General of India from 1830 to 1843.
