The Siddi Syed ki Jaali is popularly known as Siddi Sayyed Mosque. It is one of the oldest mosques in India having been built during the latter part of the 15th century. The Mosque in Ahmedabad is known for its stone latticework windows, which served as an inspiration in designing the logo of IIM Ahmedabad. Kankaria Lake:
The Kankaria Lake in Ahmedabad is located in the south-eastern part of the city. The work on the lake was completed during the time of Sultan Qutb-ud-din Ahmad Shah II. A lakefront housing many attractions dot the venue. Kankaria Carnival a week-long celebration happens at this venue. This destination is located just 3.5 kilometers from our hotel and can be reached in under 15 minutes via road.Â
Gandhi Ashram & River Front:Â
The Gandhi Ashram sometimes referred to as the Sabarmati Ashram is located in the Sabarmati suburb of Ahmedabad. This was the residence of Mahatma Gandhi when he was not travelling throughout India and when not in prison. It was from this location the famed Dandi March took place. This place of cultural and historical significance is located just 20 minutes from our Ahmedabad Hotel.Â
