This forcing 42m-high stone dedication arch was planned by Lutyens in 1921. It pays tribute to around 90,000 Indian armed force officers who were killed in WWI, the Northwest Frontier operations, and the 1919 Anglo-Afghan War. The chhatri behind it contained a statue of George V, later relocated to Coronation Park. Its one of the prominent tourist attractions now.
Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar, an UNESCO World Heritage Site is the most noteworthy stone pinnacle in India. The development of the Qutub Minar was begun by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak in 1199 and was done by his successor and child in-law, Iltutmish. This great structure was named after the Sufi holy person, Khwaja Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki.
