Solang valley lies the centre of Solang town beside the Beas Kund. It offers a delightful view from asserting ice sheets and snow-topped mountains. It is a classic spot for skiing and hosts the winter skiing festivity. During winter, the valley becomes a skiing paradise for youths likewise sliding through those new white snow. The moment the snow softens in the mid-year, skiing is exchanged for parachuting, zorbing, paragliding and horse riding.

Shivalik Range extends from North-East India up to Nepal and is secured with thick woods. However, the woodland cover diminishes towards west from Nepal (The quantum of precipitation diminishes from east to west in Shiwaliks and Ganga Fields). The southern inclines of Shivalik extend in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh are practically without backwoods cover. These slants are exceedingly dissected by regular streams called Chos.

Lansdowne is a hill station in the north Indian province of Uttarakhand. It was established as a military battalion under the British rule, and the Garhwali Exhibition hall follows the historical backdrop of the Garhwal Rifles regiment, which still maintains in the town.  Tip-n-Top viewpoint is roosted up on an edge sitting above forested slopes.
