Hospitality is close to my heart, work is my passion and success to me is the determination to achieve a blend of both’. These are the words of Noel D’mello, General Manager of Savannah Sarovar Premiere, Bengaluru.
Noel began his career in hotel industry 25 years ago working with Taj group, Holiday Inn, Hotel Corporation of India and also traveled to Jordan and Kenya. His journey with Sarovar started in 1996, with a long stint at Hotel Marine Plaza Mumbai as the F & B manager and Resident manager. And today he proudly holds fort of a leading Sarovar hotel in Bengaluru since October 2006.
As Noel puts it in his own words, “Today hotels are not just about a comfortable room and good restaurants, it is about the ‘complete’ experience of providing the unexpected.’ What Noel loves about hotel industry is its vibrancy and the scope to do something new everyday.
Noel firmly believes in ‘guest and employee satisfaction’ as he feels that both are very closely related to each other. As a General Manager, Noel feels it is his duty to serve the industry and utilize his leadership skills at its best. He feels that hard work, determination and discipline are the prime essentials to be a part of the industry.
Noel is a avid reader and enjoys reading motivational and fictional books. He loves watching football and other contact sports. Noel likes to indulge in continental food and swears on his all-time favourite Goan fish curry.
His wife works at Leelavati Hospital in Mumbai and they have two sons Sean and Stefan.
Noel’s life philosophy is “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”

Sarovar held its 14th Annual Conference at Savannah Sarovar Premiere, Bengaluru on June 21-22nd, 2008. There were around 75 participants from various Sarovar hotels across India. During the conference, awards for the Best Salesperson and Best Employees were given out.
