Chattbir National Zoo
Chattbir Zoo (formally Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park), is a zoological reserve near Zirakpur, India. The zoo was developed in the 1970s and is home to a huge assortment of feathered birds, warm-blooded animals and reptiles. The zoo was inaugurated in 1977 by the then legislative head of Punjab Mahendra Mohan Choudhry, and it was dedicated as Mahendra Chaudhury Zoological Park. At first, the zoo was populated by few creatures brought from Guwahati Zoo, Assam and it soon turned into the biggest zoo in Northern India
Government Museum and Art Gallery
The Government Museum and Art Gallery, Chandigarh is designed by the Swiss born French architect, Le Corbusier. It houses the gathering of models, smaller than usual canvases, current and contemporary craftsmanship, materials, ornamental workmanship, coins, original copies and earthenware.
