Mansoor Adil is the Senior Executive Vice-President and a whole time Director on the board. His responsibilities include the Group’s development plans, including direct investments, joint ventures, overseeing the operations of multiple hotels and at the corporate level on issues of strategic importance to the group.

A graduate of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, he joined Oberoi Hotels in 1981 from where he obtained his postgraduate Diploma in Hotel Management. He attended various professional programs on finance and banking at the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Reserve Bank of India. His past background in finance and an equally long exposure in the hospitality sector at middle and senior management levels gives him a unique domain specific knowledge edge.

His experience and background spans across three industry segments, having worked in the hospitality business, in corporate banking and in the BPO industry. He has worked with Oberoi Hotels and The Taj Group where, in his last assignment he headed The Taj Bengal, Kolkata. In the banking segment, at The Bank of Credit & Commerce, as Group Manager – Credits, for Asia Pacific Region, he oversaw the credit function of the region while at GE Capital he was part of the first major BPO establishment in India. Mansoor’s professional career has spanned from India to the UK, Hong Kong and the Middle East.

Pradeep Kalra has a Diploma in Business Management from the Institute of Management Studies, Delhi and a certificate in International Marketing from IIFT. Pradeep has over 33 years of work experience, with over 2 decades spent in hotel assignments with prominent hotel chains including Oberoi Hotels and Jaypee Hotels as Senior Vice-President  - Sales and Marketing. He has spent considerable amount of time on corporate, travel and conference sales & marketing.

At Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Pradeep is responsible for Sales & Marketing for the group

S. Raja is a commerce graduate from Mumbai University and a Chartered Accountant. He has over 23 years experience in Finance, Banking, Accounts, Budgeting, MIS, Taxation, Costing, Internal Audit, Systems Implementation, Company Secretarial and Legal matters. He has worked with several reputed organisations including Universal Ferro & Allied Chemicals, Paragon Textile Mills, Ramgopal Polytex and ACG Worldwide.

Raja’s last assignment was as Vice President – Finance with Keystone Realtors, a group engaged in real estate development, where he played a key role in raising private equity for a large project. He was also instrumental in raising project finance for several other projects.

At Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Raja is responsible for Corporate Finance, Accounts, MIS, Treasury, Taxation and Company Secretarial functions

Satpal Singh is a Civil Engineer from BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru. With over 26 years experience, he has spearheaded numerous projects and management initiatives. Satpal has worked with DLF LOR, BPH International, ITI Ltd. and many others in sectors ranging from Hospitality, Banking, Real Estate and for the Indian Army, to name a few. He has been associated with various projects including industrial buildings, townships, commercial spaces, corporate office complexs, stadiums, SEZ including varied utility services.

At Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Satpal is responsible for project planning and implementation.

T.K Das is a Marine Engineer with over 40 years experience. He has extensive experience in the hospitality industry and was Director – Engineering, Oberoi Hotels, Western Region for 10 years. He was also Vice-President Engineering and Projects, Leela Hotels for 2 years and Director-Engineering, The Regent, Mumbai for 2 years.

Tarun Dacha comes with an experience of more than two decades in the hospitality industry. He has worked with some of the best names in the industry, including Old World Hospitality; Radisson, New Delhi and Renaissance, Mumbai. Tarun started his career with The Ashok, Delhi as a management trainee in 1987 and successfully continued moving up the ladder handling many challenging assignments. His last assignment was with Viceroy Hotels Ltd., promoters of Marriott International in Hyderabad, where he joined as Executive Chef in 2004 and was eventually promoted to the position of General Manager – F&B Development.

Tarun’s expertise lies in the pre-opening procedures of new hotels. As a Corporate Chef with Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Tarun Dacha is responsible for food and beverage development, facility planning and pre-opening food and beverage operations at Sarovar’s upcoming hotels.

Rita started her career of over 3 decades in hospitality with the iconic Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai. She also held positions with hotels like Vasant Continental, Park Royal (now Intercontinental) and was the Executive Housekeeper for ITC Maurya in New Delhi. Rita brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience not only in operations but also in projects.

Her present job responsibilities include overseeing housekeeping operations across all group hotels as also for upcoming projects across India.

I.K. Mohanan joined Oberoi Hotels in 1973 and spent 20 years with the organization. He left the company in 1993 as Assistant Chief Accountant, overseeing the finance operations of both units of The Oberoi Hotels, Mumbai. He has also worked as Corporate Finance Manager at Aakins Hospitality, GP group of companies in Thailand.

Mohanan joined Sarovar Hotels & Resorts in 1996 and holds the designation of Corporate General Manager - Finance.

P.B. Charna joined Oberoi Hotels in 1972 and during the 24 year tenure handled responsibilities including inventory control, purchasing and estate management. He joined Sarovar Hotels & Resorts in 1996. As the Corporate Purchase Manager, he is responsible for sourcing potential material suppliers and vendor negotiations.

C.K Cherian carries with him over 30 years of experience in project development with companies like Crompton Greaves Ltd, GVK Group (Hyderabad) and Jayalaxmi Aluminium Pvt. Ltd. (Mumbai). Cherian joined Sarovar Hotels & Resorts in 2001 as incharge of Sarovar Hospitality Services at the Indian School of Business - Hyderabad, managing 116 rooms and student village accommodation for around 700 students in addition to Housekeeping, Engineering and F&B Services.
He is also responsible for the overall corporate hospitality at IIM Ahmedabad. Cherian’s present job role also includes planning of upcoming Sarovar Projects.

Sanjeev Shekhar is a graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and holds a diploma in Management. He has worked with Oberoi Hotels for 9 years across The Oberoi, New Delhi; The Krishna Oberoi, Hyderabad and The Oberoi, Mumbai and was Director – Sales & Marketing (Western Region) from 1993 to 1996, when he left for Oman to work with the Accor Group.

Sanjeev relocated to India and joined Sarovar in 2002. He oversees the operations of Sarovar hotels and resorts in Western India. He is also the General Manager of Hotel Marine Plaza, Mumbai.

Tarun Maity has extensive experience in hospitality with hotels like Hyatt Regency, New Delhi and The Leela Kempinsky, Mumbai. Prior to being the Regional Director – Eastern Region, he was the Area Director overseeing operations for both, The Peerless Inn at Kolkata and Durgapur.

At present, Tarun oversees the operations of all group hotels in Eastern India.

A hotel management graduate from IHM Hyderabad, Nipun carries 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has worked with Holiday Inn and Clarks Amer before joining Sarovar Hotels. His tenure with Sarovar includes being the General Manager at Majestic Park Plaza, Ludhiana and then Area Director - Punjab.

In his present capacity, Nipun oversees the operations of all Sarovar hotels and resorts in Northern India.

Ghulam Samdani holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from Lucerne, Switzerland, followed by a Bachelors in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Johnson & Wales University, Rhode Island, USA. He also holds a MBA in Organisational Behaviour from the same university. Ghulam has worked across Switzerland and USA, in various capacities including Restaurant Manager, Event Manager and then as Director - Food & Beverage.

 As Regional Director – Southern Region, Ghulam oversees the operations of Sarovar hotels and resorts in Southern India. He is also the General Manager at The Muthoot Plaza, Thiruvananthapuram.

Manoj K. Mavi has an experience of about a decade in various positions across hotels in the United States. Manoj is a Hotel Management graduate from Hotel Institute Montreux, Switzerland. He started his career with Marriott Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in the US and after a 4 year stint took up the position of Manager – Food & Beverage with Holiday Inn, Atlanta.

His next assignment was with Diplomat Hotel Corporation, Atlanta in the year 2006. After a stint as Manager – Business Development for the group, Manoj came back to India in 2008 and joined Sarovar Hotels & Resorts as Director – New Properties and spearheads the pre-opening operations for upcoming Sarovar properties.

Manoj also has a specialization in Business Finance from Georgia State University in Atlanta, USA.

As General Manager – Marketing, Rahat is responsible for corporate and hotel specific marketing functions. Her prior work experience includes stints with Radisson - Edwardian Hotels, London, UK and Mahajan & Aibara (Management Consultancy Division), Mumbai. She is an MBA from Richmond College, The American International University in London.

A hotel management graduate and a postgradutae diploma holder in Hotel Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai Zubin is responsible for conceptualising and executing training initiatives for the group. He is also a Certified Hospitality Educator from the American Hotel & Motel Association

Starting his career with Old World Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi he has been associated with Sarovar Hotels & Resorts since 1996 as Corporate Training Manager. Zubin at present heads Training and Development at the group and is also actively involved in the opening of all new hotels under the group.

Suresh is a postgraduate in Personnel Management and holds a diploma in Labour Laws from the Indian Law Institute. He is also an MBA and has an additional diploma in training and development. Suresh has worked with HCL, IDM, VAM Organics and Rotary Blood Bank. Prior to joining Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, he headed HRD at Pizza Corner India Pvt. Ltd.

Suresh is responsible for Human Resources and employee development policies and systems for the entire group.
