Getting There

By Air
The nearest airport is Bagdogra at a distance of nearly 124 km from Gangtok. It is situated 12 km from Siliguri in West Bengal. There is a regular helicopter service from Bagdogra to Gangtok that takes only 20 minutes. By road it takes about 5 hours.

By Rail
The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri that is 148 km which takes around 5 hours by road to reach Gangtok. New Jalpaiguri is connected to all major Indian cities through an excellent railway network.
