Lal Bagh houses India's largest collection of tropical plants, has an aquarium and lake, and is one of the main tourist attractions.


The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum:  This is not a 'museum' in its classical sense, because it has interactive exhibits, unlike stationary models of a museum. It is more of a "Science Centre", with each floor dedicated to a scientific discipline.
